When we pray it changes things… it changes things in the world outside and it changes things within us, even if we weren’t praying for something for ourselves. If I had the joy of the Lord then I wouldn’t be going through this right now?!” Or how about Proverbs 17:22 where it says a happy heart is like good medicine and we’ve wondered how is it possible to be happy in “this” situation?
