God doesn't speak in part... He speaks in whole. Maybe that's why we don't get it some of the time... we speak in part... we see things in part... God doesn't... He sees the WHOLE. He sees YOU as WHOLE. Not broken, not sinning, not shamed, not sick... rather perfect and whole!
Speaking on Matthew 26 starting in verse 36, John Gray talks about getting from 'here' to 'there' - the journey of one. He addresses the dual nature of our flesh.
Come as you are. Worship as you are. Worship matters! I've been told that it says in the Bible "do not fear" 365 times... Any idea on how many times it says "Praise the Lord"? Or "Give thanks to the Lord"? I don't... but in my concordance it covers more space than fear does. So it must be important!
God elevates hearts! And your worship comes from your heart!
